Step Up to Work and Study - Hospitality is an Academic
program with a Practicum , or
paid Internship, that offers multiple
opportunities to link classroom
                                                                       learing to workplace experience.
 
Academic Component
Intensive study includes English Language Training/Cultural Training, Hospitality Workshops ( English as a Second Language based), and focuses on language acquisition and practice in the context of conflict resolution, cultural competence, problem solving, teamwork, handling
criticism, adaptability, motivation, and leadership skills, industry specific terminology and practices.
 
 

Program Options

 Every student is a unique personality and each one may have very different goals, come to Canada with unique life experiences, and slightly different idea about adventure and travelling and working abroad. With this in mind, we designed our Program to have options that match most personality types and desired experiences.

 

Silver Program

If you have previously travelled abroad, have work experience, and consider yourself very independent, you might prefer the wide variety of job options and locations in our Silver Program.

 

 Gold Program

This may be your fist expereinces, and you prefer to have every single aspect of your work and study experience controlled, managed, and organized from beginning to end......in this  instance, our Gold Program is likely best suited for you.

 SILVER  PROGRAM

  • 6, 8  and 12 months options
  • Intensive study all at Vancuver campus
  • No classes during Internship
  • Vancouver or Resort locations
  • Internship Posiion is self -arranged
  • Maturity, Responsibility, Flexibility

 

GOLD PROGRAM

  • 6 and 12 month options
  • Intensive study at Vancouver campus
  • Ongoing class study at Resort
  • Resort locations only (outside Vancouver)
  • Position type based on skills and availability
  • Travel arranged
  • Accommodation aranged
