Requirements for Au Pairs in Finland:

Age:                      single, no children, age between 18 - 30

Working hours:     30 hours per week maximum
                              2 weeks baby-sittings per week
                     
English skills:        very good English or other language
                             if family requires ( German, French,
                             Italian, Spanish )
                           

Duties:                  helping to take care of children, helping
                             with meals, baby-sittings, taking children
                              to school or nursery. Assist with house-
                              hold as ironing, vacuuming and etc. 


Travel:                   Au Pair pays for her own travel arrangement


Insurance:            you may consider taking out medical insurance
                             before leaving home or complete Form E-111
                             Social Security
                             host families provide Health insurance covered
                             during your work hours

Visa:                      EU contries: no visa required, just
                              - need to register local at police station
                              
                             non EU countries: visa required
                             - need apply for Residence permit  at your  local
                             Finnish Consulate
