The Au Pair in Finland stays with a family in a foreign country, learns
the language, about the customs and culture. She has got
her own room, meal and is treated as a member of a family,
in exchange she helps with children and household for
30 hours per week maximum and gets pocket money.
The Au Pair program for Finland gives you excellent opportunity to
learn the Finnish language during your stay in Finland.
All applicants must be available for 6 - 12 moths.
There are few families who are looking for Au Pair for summer
2-3 months. If you wish to spend in Finland only summer you
should apply as soon as possible.
Important
Families pay for language course, health insurance covered
during your working hours, 2 weeks paid holiday after 12
months.
Au Pair program fees: free of charge
Summer Au Pair program fees: 30 euro non-refundable fee
Requirements for Au Pairs in Finland:
Age: single, no children, age between 18 - 30
Working hours: 30 hours per week maximum
2 weeks babysittings per week
English skills: very good English
Duties: helping to take care of children, helping
with meals, babysittings, taking children
to school or nursery. Assist with house-
hold as ironing, vacuuming and etc.
Free time: 1 1/2 day a week must be free and
2 weekends of per month
Accommodation: Au Pair must have her own fully furnished room
with access to bathroom and shower, TV, stereo
and etc.
Pocket money: minimum pocket money 300 euro/month
Courses: Families pay for course.
Travel: Au Pair pays for her own travel arrangement
Insurance: you may consider taking out medical insurance
before leaving home or complete Form E-111
Social Security
host families provide Health insurance covered
during your work hours
