For Au Pair in Australia we have 2 options for you:1, Au Pairs in Australia arrive in Sydney to meet with several families.
Our partner agency will then match the Au Pairs with fa-
milies based on preferences. As we have many families
in Australia we can ensure that every girl will meets with
at least 3 families.
In option 1 after arrival in Sydney you will stay 3 - 4 nights
in 4, 5 start hostel and you will have time to explore Sydney,
to get jetlag. During these days you will meet 3 families. You
will go for personal interview to their house. You will have the
ability to see the house, whole family and the location. After
the interview, you and all 3 families, can make their own
decision. So this option gives you opportunity o spend some
time in Sydney and make your own decision about your new
host family.
2, Au Pairs in Australia will know all the details about family before
they leave the home country. When Au Pair choose this
option she have the security of knowing a host family
choose her out of all the Au Pairs available to them.
But we prefer girls do not specify where they would like
to go as they are several limits of our matching abilities.
In option 2 we place usually Au Pairs around Sydney,
Melbourne and Brisbane areas. Au Pair will be informed
of all the details of the host family prior to interview and
can decide after interview if she is not interested in the family.
If you should have be having any problem with the family
the Viviene team and partner agency in Australia will support
you to solve the issue or to find a new family as soon as
practical.
Au Pair Requirements for Australia
* Be between 18 and 30 Female
* Must have good level of English
* Driver license and willingness to drive in Australia
* Non - Smoker
* To commit to stay 9 - 12 months
* A minimum of 200 hours childcare experience
babysitting, after school care, voluntary work
* Work for 25 - 40 hours per week
* Babysitting for 2 -3 evening per week
* Duties include caring for children and light house
work
* Minimum of 2 days free per week
* Earn about AU$150 - AU$250 per week
* Full board and lodge
* To be open for different cultures
* To be patient
* To love children and make different activities
with children
Nanny Requirements
* Nanny qualification and experiences
* 40 - 60 hours per week
* AU$ 250 - AU$ 300 per week live in
* To be non smoker
* Must have good level of English
* Full driver´s license
* Sole charge of children
* 2 days free per week
* 9 - 12 months commitment
